Due to the recent scope of the agreements submitted, please allow 6-8 weeks to get your agreement executed. As long as you have submitted a participation agreement, your Medicaid refunds will not be compromised. The health care company signs the participation agreement on behalf of the practice or organization. Note: Suppliers can use one of two agreements to provide situational data. The main difference between the two agreements is whether the health care provider wants to be able to view the patient records in longitudinal slices and to use the additional services of NC HIEA. In this case, suppliers should sign the full agreement. If you no longer need to log in but need to submit a bid contract, NC HIEA will contact you to terminate your agreement or replace it soon. If your organization wants to voluntarily participate in NC HealthConnex to view patient records or use NC HealthConnex value-added features, your organization may enter into a full participation agreement available at nchealthconnex.gov. On page 31 of Appendix 31 of the Participation Agreement, health care providers are encouraged to provide information about their practice, including their higher education provider, and the health care system or regional SERVICES in which their organization is a member.
